Windows 7 system queued windows error reporting

My Windows 7 error reporting queue was 6.46 GB after just a couple of hrs. Maybe you desire to inspect yours? (Instructions inside.)

Screenshot

How to check?

Open start menu, search for "Disk Cleanup" and push enter.

You watching: Windows 7 system queued windows error reporting

Wait until Windows has calculated exactly how much room can be freed.

In the window titled "Disk Cleanup for (C:)" click the switch called "Clean up system files".

Wait till Windows has actually calculated... aacquire.

Check whatever you want to rerelocate, specifically "System queued Windows error reporting..." and click "OK".

What did I perform to gain such a big error report queue?

Installed fresh Windows 7 in a virtual machine.

Installed Firefox and also Chrome.

Installed all crucial updays.

Nothing else.

Only 197kb here, I've had my desktop for a simply over a year now. Maybe CCleaner gets rid of them.

Where is 'clean up system files'? I don't have that in the cleanup options. EDIT: I missed your screenshot. I don't have that in mine.

I guess that you have disabled UAC and therefore mechanism documents are currently included without clicking that button.

It's System Rekeep papers that takes up a fair bit of room for me. I never require System Rekeep aside from a "Many recent backup" (which it leaves) maybe once a year so I just clear them out.

System queued Windows error reporting: 4.62KB

Before cleaning System Restore: 36.3GB free

After cleaning System Restore: 52.9GB free

Beautiful. Went from 90.7 GB complimentary to 99.7 GB totally free by doing this. For future recommendation for myself or anyone else interested, right here is just how to execute this in Windows 7.

I am kinda surprised that it's 6+ GB of ERRORS, but come to think of it, I have done disk cleanups in the previous that are at leastern a couple of gigs. From what I remember, it cleaned up regain points or somepoint alengthy those lines.

Installed fresh Windows 7 in a virtual machine

I'm guessing that is the reason

Don't think so. Previous VM installations didn't have this worry. This time I required to run Windows upday even more than as soon as bereason "it couldn't install all updates". Maybe this generated 6.5 GB of errors. :-)
