Just constructed a PC, installed Windows 7. Eexceptionally time I click shutdvery own from the start menu it turns off then boots best ago up. Any ideas on whats going on, is something wrong through the PC? It wasn"t doing this a couple of days ago. It just recently began doing it. I first noticed that in the morning that my PC was on even thought the night before I turned it off. Then I tried shutting it down tonight and it just basically restarts instead.

Hi,

Please examine listed below steps to rotate off

1.Go to My Computer->Right Click->Click Properties.

2.Then Go to Hardware Device-> click Device Manager->select Network adapters.

3.Then choose PCI-Rapid Ethernet Controller-> right click properties->power management->deselect "Allow the computer system to rotate off this device to conserve power".

4.Go to "Advanced" tab->location worth off for "Wake from shut down"->worth none for "Wake up capabilities"

5.Finally pick press OK.

If over actions does not work-related,please try to restart computer and then push f2. Then go to "main" tab click netjob-related boot to disable after that click save.

I have the same concern through a SteamOS machine in my living room. My solution for this reason far was simply to switch the PSU power switch off after shutting down completely, to prevent it from turning back on.

Anymeans, suggests to me that it is not likely a Windows-specific concern. If you remove the connection to your recollection switch from the motherboard, does the problem continue? In my situation, I was guessing it can be that the switch was shorting or somepoint...

I best clicked on My Computer and entered my Ethernet settings:

I unchecked all the "Wake on LAN" settings and also it appears to work-related for. COMPUTER isn"t turning earlier on after a shutdown. But that doesn"t resolve the real trouble. However before, something obviously is sending my COMPUTER a magic wake up packet, I just ssuggest removed the ability to wake on LAN so my Ethernet is no longer responding to the "magic packet" or whatever before that is. Any ideas on what I deserve to execute to function every little thing out?
