Importing multiple records, yet not all on height of each other

Postby NoLayingUp » Mon Mar 27, 2017 10:56 am

Hello,I newly had a significant error with an audio file through virtually two hours of audio that I can not afford to lose. Basically, I tried to clear space on my hard drive, and relocated a bunch of records to an outside tough drive. I accidentally relocated the file that i was functioning in. The raw information papers made it onto the external hard drive, but when I go to open the file i had conserved, it can"t uncover them. I have actually the backup files on the exterior hard drive, and also I tried to import them all, 256 at a time, as that is exactly how they"re conserved in the folder. However before, once I import them, they all layer straight over optimal of each various other. It would take me periods to move and lineup each individual clip. Is there a method to import the papers in consecutive order fairly than relocating each one structure by frame? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, no - "Import Appended" is a long-standing Feature Repursuit (would you prefer me to include your vote for this?).Fortunately tbelow is a straightforward work-related around.1) Use Ctrl+A to choose all the tracks2) Use Tracks > Align Tracks > Align end to end3) Export ...WC

Thanks so much for the rapid reply. This absolutely helps! However before, not I"m running right into a brand-new issue, wbelow the clips are imported, however not rather in order. Is tbelow a way to import the files based on their time stamp? I tried sorted by the date modified in the desktop folder, and also dragging them in tbelow, but they are still a little bit all over the area. Re arranging countless clips is going to wear me out! Thanks aget.

Files import in name order. It is not configurable. So as of now, you would have to rename by timestamp order. Do you desire to vote for an option to import by timestamp order? Gale
