My child has had his Insignia TV considering that Christmas and also his xbox has played fine up till yesterday. His xbox is connected through the 3 cables (red, white, & yellow). Now his xbox starts up and remains on babsence and white. I tested it on one more TV in the residence and also it plays fine (color). Is there a setup on the TVI have to check/change? What could have occurred from at some point to the next? Please advise.

you tvs inputs are proably messed up becusage the xbox has actually no black and white setting so i would certainly try a difrant port, try an hdmi cable or attempt a componet cable if it functions then you need that port repard

Some of the TVs have actually common Component/AV ports, if the TV was collection to component it would be in search of 2 extra video clip cables (and that would certainly cause babsence and also white). If it"s a fairly new TV it will have a Video switch on the remote you can cycle with, otherwise go to Input and also make certain it"s on AV.If you give us a model for the TV we can tell for sure what options tbelow are.

Hello takintime3,Welcome to Community
Insignia™!This problem most often is an outcome of imappropriately associated cables. The ports on the side of the TV are mutual component and composite ports. Encertain that your cables are connected properly and firmly seated, via the yellow video cable plugged into the port labeled Y/VIDEO. If the problem persists, attempt using a brand-new composite cable or upgrading to component or HDMI. If the problem persists, attempt connecting a different composite device (e.g., DVD player) as a troubleshooting step. Please let us recognize your results.Regards,JohnInsignia™ Support
