I newly purchased an MSI GS63VR GRF Stealth Pro. I had to perform a fresh Windows 10 install because all the bloatware was staggering. But also before I did so, my lapoptimal was not recognizing the audio input jack. It doesn"t show up in the gadget manager, and also I"m a little puzzled as to what driver I should hunt dvery own (if any). Any suggestions for what I can perform to deal with this issue?

Did you attempt to install the Nahimic 2 audio driver from the MSI site? I think Microsoft"s generic driver will take it"s location if you didn"t, yet you might be missing some usability because of it. https/www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GS63VR-6RF-Stealth-Pro.html#down-driver&Win10 64

While it isn"t mirroring in the major location for sound in device manager, are you sure it isn"t hiding in an additional area? That does occur.Have you tried going right into "Control Panel" and then "Sound", as soon as you have either a microphone or a headcollection plugged in (relying on the port using), and also view if they present in tright here under the "Playback" and/or "Recording" tabs?

I"ve poked around in the various other sections of the device manager to no avail, however I wouldn"t understand exactly wbelow to look either. In Playago Devices, it doesn"t display up at all. Only the onboard mic, my usb mic, and also RealTek Stereo Mix. The audio out headphone jack works fine though.I"ve also eliminated the microphone itself as the problem -- it attributes fine once I plug it right into a usb adapter.

If it is a brand new gadget, then you have to really call the manufacturer if the port isn"t working. They need to be repairing/replacing it for you.

My worry is they"ll initially tell me to reinstall all the vehicle drivers I wiped via my clean Windows install, so I came right here to make certain I haven"t missed anypoint software connected before I make that speak to.
