Laptop thinks headphones are plugged in windows 10

I do not know what happened. One day I might usage my headphones, or unplug them and also use my laptop"s speakers rather. The next day I open up up my lapoptimal and the speakers do not occupational. The strange point is, my computer plays its turn-on sound (ASUS gaming series, the logo type of explodes into existance) as soon as the computer starts up through the speakers, so I know the speakers functioned. I scoured about my settings and also uncovered that for some factor my computer thinks that tright here is somepoint plugged into my headphone jack, also though tright here is not. When I plug headphones in they play fine. I haven"t dropped it and I think I treat it pretty well. Searched via settings, couldn"t figure out how to disable the headphone jack without disabling the speakers. Any suggestions? It"s really annoying to not have speakers.
