I newly obtained the latest AMD motorists via their brand-new "Adrenalin 2020" package. Version 19.12.2

Tetris Effect crashes on startup currently.

I desire to revert earlier to 19.12.1 (I have it downloaded from before). But it won"t let me. When I start the install, it checks for brand-new vehicle drivers and suggests I downpack 19.12.2. It does not provide me the option to overlook this.

Anyone else having actually concerns via these versions? Any ideas how to force it?

ATI RX 580 btw

Edit: I already uninstalled 19.12.2 and ran the AMD cleanup tool. I additionally tried to disattach from the internet and it simply stops working to examine for updates and then will not let me proceed.

Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to entirely rerelocate all traces of the chauffeurs. Delete the C:AMD folder if it is tright here.

Reboot and also then disaffix from the internet. Run the driver installer and it must install as normal. If it does not, make sure that you have downloaded the complete package and not the Auto Detect and Install one. The full package is generally well over 200MB in dimension and also is called with a variation.

I’ve noticed that the latest version of DDU does not totally remove the motorists. The contents of the AMD folder never acquire deleted also if you have that choice selected.

That"s odd. It seemed to have actually worked for me, however then again I did click Change once uninstalling the old chauffeurs through the Apps list and I used the "Clean Uninstall" alternative.

I set up 19.12.2 and also have actually not had a solitary problem. Certain games seem to run slightly smoother through less stuttering as well. So many world are having issues via the brand-new driver and it appears prefer I am the only one without concerns. My card is overclocked too utilizing MSI Afterburner and my Windows install is not exceptionally clean and also has been with several version upqualities with the majority of left-overs installed. I have actually no idea why so many civilization are having actually issues via the more recent motorists, probably it is simply bereason I am utilizing an older card (R9 390X).
