Computer monitor turns off when playing games

Whenever I'm playing games my monitor decides to "revolve off" (it loses signal to DVI, enter power-saving mode) and also I need to re-boot the COMPUTER for it to work-related aacquire. The PC but, doesn't revolve off as I have the right to still see the LED light on the front of the instance turned on and fans etc inside are still hearable.

You watching: Computer monitor turns off when playing games

GPU temps never before go over 65°C, CPU temps fluctuate rather a lot though as I've watched it be everywhere between 40-60°C as soon as gaming.

I've tried 3 various monitors, so the monitor is not the trouble. I've not been able to attempt various PSU or GPU so I'm unsure if it's either of those.

GPU: ASUS gtx970 CPU: Intel i5-4690 PSU: EVGA 500W MB: MSI H97 PC Mate RAM: 8gb Crucial Ballistix OS: Windows 10 Monitor: ASUS VGE248QE HDD: 2 TB Seagate 7200RPM SSD: Kingston 120GB

Any assist would be substantially appreciated.

Have you checked it through an additional cable? If it loses connection it can be the cable or a connection on the GPU.

GPU have to not be going bad as it's only remained in usage for approximately 2 months.

I will double check the PSU cables.

GPU motorists have actually been updated 3-4 times

Motherboard drivers have actually been updated (through the exception of BIOS and also VGA drivers who don't seem to install properly)

Temps are monitored by means of speccy and also i have actually used brand-new thermal paste a couple of weeks back.

Lower resolution doesn't seem to readjust anypoint.

I'll look at the power settings and run a stress and anxiety test.
